Itinerànnia

Itinerànnia is a 2,500km network of footpaths throughout the counties of Ripollès, la Garrotxa & l’Alt Empordà. The equivalent of a hikers' road-map, permitting access to and from any point. Ancient, historic paths between villages have been reopened in order to reach the most remote locations. This network allows for countless excursions of different lengths and difficulties with a rich variety of natural, architectural and cultural interest.

Circular route from Peralada to Cabanes

The route starts at the Peralada tourist office, situated on plaça de la Peixateria in the town centre. Follow carrer de la Sabateria until la plaça del Carme then continue along carrer del Call until you go through el portal de la Muralla. At the crossroads is a vertical sign for Itinerannia AE171. This itinerary goes form Peralada to Cabanes and then from Cabanes to Mas de n’Aldas, before returning to Peralada.
