The Procession of Sorrows

Of the many religious acts celebrated during Easter week, perhaps the most unusual is Good Friday's Procession of Sorrows, one of the oldest Catalan processions. The parade presents the spectator with the opportunity to see many of the church''s treasures such as Our Lady of Sorrows and the black Christ crucifix amongst others.

During Easter there is also the traditional Caramelles recital, performed by the Peralada choir.
