Mossos d'Esquadra, Segona República i Guerra Civil 1931-1939

Three hundred years of uninterrupted journey through the history of the Mossos d'Esquadra that allows the public to be enlightened about a part of our history that is largely unknown and that, without a doubt, will bring citizens closer to a police force that has ensured the safety of its fellow citizens for the last three centuries.

A first block reviews the history of the beginnings of the Mossos d'Esquadra force, a second block focuses on the Second Republic and the Civil War and finally a third block where the suppression of the force and its reinstatement by the Barcelona Provincial Council and the transfer of the force to the Generalitat up to the present day are discussed.
