Festa de Sant Antoni i Sant Sebastià 2026

The year begins with the celebration of Saint Anthony and Saint Sebastian.

On the occasion of Saint Anthony, a parade with musical accompaniment and a procession of animals makes its way to the parish church, where the traditional blessing of the animals takes place. This is followed by the religious service, the distribution of blessed bread and a mass accompanied by the Peralada Choir. The day concludes with a sardana dance performance in the main square.

The events for Saint Sebastian begin with a service in his honour at the chapel. The following day, the traditional blessing of the animals takes place in Church Square, followed by a solemn service accompanied by the Peralada Choir and, afterwards, a sardana dance performance in the main square.

On Saint Sebastian’s Day, a mass is also held at his chapel, with musical accompaniment and the distribution of blessed bread. At the end of the service, a popular aperitif is offered outside the chapel.
