Art exhibition by Xavier Gimbernat

The exhibition will be inaugurated on 2 August at 7.30 p.m. at the Sant Domènec de Peralada Cultural Tourism Centre.

The Figueres painter Xavier Gimbernat, presents his new exhibition of oil paintings Between Yin and Yang in the exhibition hall of Sant Domènec. Although he has only been exhibiting his work for a few years, the artist has been painting for a long time.

He has exhibited at Casa Vila-Moner in Figueres, Ca l'Anita in Roses, Can Gruart in Vilablareix and has been invited to exhibit in a restaurant in La Selva, and has shown his music and dance performance at Mas Palol Sabaldòria for the Town Council of Vilafant.

After 3 years of presenting “'Simplement Gimbernat”' in different venues in Catalonia, Gimbernat presents in Peralada his latest works under the title “'Entre el Yin i el Yang”'.

The exhibition “'Entre el Yin i el Yang”' is a reflection of a profound evolution in his style. During the last two years he has explored his emotions intensely and this series represents the recent creative transformation.

The Yin and Yang, symbol of duality, becomes an artistic language that expresses a balance between his strong creativities.

The exhibition can be visited until Sunday 31st August, during the opening hours of the Tourist Office.
