Art exhibition by Clara Trucco

Painting

Visual artist María Clara Trucco was born in Buenos Aires (Argentina) in a southern town by the sea, surrounded by fields and nature. She began painting in oils at the age of eight. She accompanied this devotion to painting with constant academic and professional training in various territories, including Argentina, Indonesia, Belgium, Poland, France and Italy, as well as La Rioja, Olot and in many facilities and institutions in Barcelona. She has worked as a plastic artist in cultural services and has participated in collective and individual art exhibitions with various languages and disciplines. She currently works as a teacher in the artistic and scientific-technological fields while following her more personal path as a painter, between Barcelona and the Empordà.

On this occasion, she presents Cambalache. Camps de colors a l'Empordà, a series of paintings in which he reveals to us - wandering between figuration and abstraction - his own inner landscape, the product of the fusion of the places of his childhood with those of his new home, the Empordà. Fields of crops where various textures, shapes and colors converge. As if the artist wanted to put order into the 'cambalache' of emotions linked to having lived between two worlds. A compendium of feelings that he manages to unite and organize in his paintings and invites us to contemplate it: gratitude for what is new, love for what has been, and the celebration of having found a place where both can coexist.
