Art Exhibition "16 Partides" - Escola Municipal d'Art La Mercè

Every Friday morning, the 16 artists who will exhibit this October in the Sant Domènec Auditorium meet at the Girona Municipal Art School - La Mercè Cultural Centre, in the Open Painting Workshop guided by Pep Camps.

The Municipal Art School belongs to the Girona City Council and is located within the municipal facilities of La Mercè, a multi-purpose and multidisciplinary cultural centre that manages a wide programme of cultural activities related to art and the humanities.

The school's aim is to provide the city with a space open to cultural activity in which learning of different artistic disciplines is facilitated and, at the same time, to be a meeting point for all people interested in art.

On this occasion, the school presents the exhibition 16 partides in Peralada.

“16 partides are the ones that each of us plays. In front of the blank canvas, a game begins that we do not know where it will take us. Each move is unique and different. The painting dictates rules to us, sometimes vague.”

The inauguration, which will take place on Sunday, October 12 at 12:00, and to which you are invited, will be attended by the artist.

The exhibition can be visited until Sunday, November 2, during the opening hours of the Tourist Office.
